so trace pen, rear window defogger repair kit paint im pretty sure as well, and whatever else is conductive

it will do for the insulating part if you need it even, but its rather messy at that too i think

I can't stand it when people ignore advice......REAR WINDOW DEFOGGER REPAIR KIT!!. Much easier than finding a computer store that actually carrys a circuit pen. You can pick up a kit at ANY auto repair store, probably even at someplace like Wal Mart 🙂

Is there anything else that is conductive that i can find around the house? I have try Goodyear auto store, Discount auto parts, pepeboy, radioshack, and AutoZone they are doesn't have the Window defogger kit, and radioshack does not carry any circuit pen.

I'd try Autozone again. There are two kits, one them, the one you DON'T want fixes the connector that the wires connect to. The one you want is designed to fix a break in the 'grid' of the rear defogger. They are usually kept close to the gasket cements, not behind the counter. I used to know the Loctite part # but its been awile.

I've used both a Circuitworks pen and Rear Defogger repair kit from NAPA. Get the Defogger repair kit. Among other things, the repair kit is easier to use and apply as it doesn't seperate unlike the pen. After very little use, I wasn't able to get the actual metal part of the mixture out of the pen anymore, all I was getting was the glue. Plus, they're about the same price and contain about the same quantity of fluid.

I used a graphite pencil, but maybe I just had two motherboards that automatically mod the XPs for you. Not sure.

Anyway, they worked on a Tyan TIger MP and the Gigabyte GA-DPDXW+ (or whatever the hell model it is).

On a Palomino/Thoroughbred? You sure? I thought that the pencil thing only worked on Thunderbird processors, because there's not a gap in between the bridges.

I think the pencil trick doesn't work only on the L1 and L3 bridges.
