What kind of Mobo for my build

bulding a pc. had bought a p5nsli mobo but it exploded on me so now i need a new one and i've decided against the p5nsli since i don't really need SLI. here's my specs

Core 2 duo 6300
1 IDE HD 1 SATA HD
XFX 7600GT video card
Creative X-FI Platinum sound card
Mushkin 550W PSU

I'm also looking to spend about $150 on it. was thinking maybe the P5B asus or would something else be better?.
