Fellow waffle enthusiast here! What model did you go with?

Try peanut butter dessert sauce made with maple syrup as a topping:

Ah, I misunderstood that. From what I saw in your post I thought you were advocating a peanut butter dessert sauce OR corn syrup, honey, maple or pancake syrup. But I just hit the link. In Chrome it was blocked but tried it in Brave and it came up. It's actually made by combining peanut butter with any of those others. I have to try that. I've made Indonesian peanut butter sauces in the past. They were excellent and spicy. Just looked, I don't have a recipe, I think it was really simple. Spicy and sweet.

Searched... , and:

Just made mac and cheese but threw in some sharp cheddar cheese as a bonus along with extra virgin olive oil and some red pepper.

Yum!

What are people's favorite hot sauces with Asian food, besides sriracha
Asia is a big place 😉 Depending on the dish, I have a number I'll use. Some are from a local lady my wife is acquainted with. Mona makes a triple hot pineapple hot sauce with ghost, reaper, and habanero. That goes perfect on pineapple shrimp from our favorite Chinese place. Her Jamaican hot chocolate habanero is really good with twice cooked pork. Her honey Scotch bonnet is good on stir fried rice dishes. I don't have a good Indian place around here so no experience with that. Melinda's mango habanero is really good with orange chicken. Pho and Udon soup are great with some Melinda's ghost pepper blend hot sauce. Those are not the only combos, just some examples of what I like on what.

Ingrates daughter wants Mac and cheese from a box...

* Instant Pot
* Walmart brand Thick & Creamy boxed macaroni > Kraft (no joke)

1. In this order, dump 1.5 cups of water, the noodles, and half a stick of butter (4 Tablespoons) into the pot (don't stir).

2. Set to Manual for 4 minutes. Next set your smartphone timer to 13 minutes (6 minutes to Preheat, 4 minutes to cook, 3 minutes for Natural pressure release), then release the pressure at L00:03.

3. Stir in 1/4 cup of milk & the cheese packet for 30 seconds, until well-blended. Then let it sit for 2 minutes to setup (soak in).

So about 15 minutes total. No draining, no stirring, and no babysitting the stove required! Can be doubled or tripled if needed.

I have a induction range, it boils faster than my IP

The Instant Pot isn't any faster (15 minutes total), just less hands-on work:

1. No stirring
2. No draining
3. No babysitting

Regular method = boil water, then cook pasta. That's a really long time for me to pay attention tho...I start to get a tension headache LOL

I'd rather clean a pot than the whole IP.

Not the best meal I've ever made but sometimes you just have to do the best you can...I'm eating popcorn while surfing ATOT with the X-Files on in the background.

Yep.....on a Sunday night this is where I'm at.

Still trying to use up all these navy beans i bought during lockdown.
Made navy bean and ham soup. Turned out way too salty, but is a nice starting point for adaptation.

yesterday I bought some gigantic chickens thighs - 3.6 lbs with only 5 thighs ($11.00 CDN).

I made a BBQ Shake 'n Bake and wow they were great but 2 filled me completely.

had a leftover thigh for supper tonight. Damn, I haven't had good chicken in a long time.
