I mean I have always loved instant noodle, but not as a regular meal. Once in a while for lunch is fine. Mostly late night snack for me.
I ate ramen almost everyday in my college days....I think it was like 5 or 10 cents a package or like 10 for 1$!!!

its zombie apocalypse survival food or a poor college student's staple food.

i still live like i did in college 15 years after graduating

i spend almost no money and do almost nothing entertaining

and now with corona, even my occasional splurge of eating out has been replaced by yet another frozen dinner

Lol i don't think I have ever had instant noodle at that pricepoint.

That stuff is not good for your health.

Fuck it, going to cook instant noodle now xd

i'm always dangerously low on sodium no matter what i eat (like occasionally they have pumped me full of saline when i go for an unrelated reason)

so ramen actually helps me a little in that regard

Never heard of that kind of condition. Pack a salt lick.

Usually ramen was the base! Then I would add different vegetables and if i had meat I would all a little chicken or even Tuna! Also plain beef ramen with shredded cheese is good!!

Well if you are going for a main meal, sure.

I would never put cheese in my instant noodle. Just wrong flavours.

Et voila. Instant noodle, with an egg

i always make sure to drain the water before eating ramen

then i put a little butter on the noodles and sprinkle half the seasoning packet onto them, and stir

yeah there are a bunch of medications which cause low sodium, if i don't make sure to eat enough then i've dipped down into the low 120s

unfortunately i still seem to get the high blood pressure caused by eating all that sodium, even if it doesn't all get absorbed

i should try a salt lick... it might be delicious, my grandpa's dairy cows always seemed to like it

I prefer my ramen shaken, not stirred.

This is what instant noodle looks like on EVA first class. I was feeling hungry and asked for one xd.

Yes, the folding table got table cloth.

Grabbed some Trout today from Costco and grilled it for dinner. Made some pan fried seasoned squash and couscous for the sides. Most of this came from the garden especially the herbs used.

Man, that looks really good. I love whole trout but none of the local Costco locations around me carry trout.

baked avocado stuffed with egg, bacon, cheese, and sprinkled with fresh chopped perilla leaves from our garden. Basil would've been better but I wanted to wake up.

margherita pizza. fresh mozzarellas, sliced tomato, and fresh basil from our garden

fresh mussels steam with garlic, green onions, and jalapeños.

Then after eating the mussels, took the leftover mussel broth and with some mussels and made some knife cut noodles. Added some chopped up zucchini and toasted sesame seeds. I love using the leftover mussel broth to make noodles. I wish I had some fresh oysters to add as well but it's not in season where I live.

California roll made with multigrain rice. My family is on a diet so no regular white rice at the moment. Still tasted great. The key to making any kind of roll is to not press down too hard as you roll. There needs to be pockets of air between the grains of rice. Air is what makes the roll pop and melt in your mouth. If you press down too hard as you roll, all you're making is solid rice dough. Then you're just eating and chewing on heavy ball of rice.
