Just picked up a Logitech Cordless Freedom Optical from CompUSA today. I like the keyboard so far, but it's going to take me a while to get used to an optical mouse especially in FPS games

Does Dell still send out the QuietKey with their new computers?

Thankfully yes, here's their options on a Dell Dimension 4100 desktop:
=========================================================
QuietKey® Keyboard default option
Microsoft® Internet Keyboard, Dell Edition For Windows ME [add $20]
Logitech Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Desktop Solution [add $65]

I use Dvorak!!!!

I bought the keyboard from http://www.dvortyboards.com/ and it has been really great. It can be switched back to qwerty with the flick of a button.

I do a lot of typing, and it has sped up my overall rate. It didn't take too long to learn because I found a Dvorak tutorial on the net. The only problem that I still have is the Ctrl-Z/X/C/V for undo-ing, cut, copy, and paste. I still go to the bottom left of the keyboard occassionaly.

I recommend it if you do a lot of typing...otherwise it isn't worth it.

How so?

He seems pretty passionate about keyboards, but my BS detector didn't go off...

I use a Focus 2001. I'm a piano player and a touch typist, so I love the click tactile feel. OTOH, I can't stand "mushy" keyboards. They're around $21 at the local swap meets, and easily worth the price. :)
