What kind of interface do notebooks LCD's use?

I was just wondering what kind of interface notebook LCD's use to connect from the panel to the notebook. I would guess that there must be several incompatible standards.

The reason I ask is because I have two notebook LCD's that both have 20-pin connectors and I'd like to find out if these lcd's use the same interface standard. I'd also like to find a place where I could but the connecting ribbon so if someone could help me with that it'd be great.

Thanks.

Good luck buddy, I imagine everyone has uses their own cables with unique connectors. Probably the same standard, ie pincount, but different cables and connectors.
