My computer has been up for 1 day, 11 hours, and 55 minutes - T1 connection.

Since logon, I've had 2.931 GB of uploads!:Q

I am at 56k, and I have had three people downloading off me, and two of them were at 56k too. What are these people thinking? ;)

I've left Napster, Gnutella, Scour, and FTP on for a day and the uploads were life 8GB. This was back in college with multiple T3 lines.

Just don't leave Napster up when trying to play Counter-Strike...

I forgot one day that I had it up and started playing CS, and then realized my sudden spikes to 800 ping were a result. I had 13 simultaneous downloads. Now, before I play, I make sure I kill the connections (F-em, its free.)

I dunno, but I hate it when people get pissed cuz they got a file transfer...I'm thinking, "Yo', if you'd download less than 10 files at a time from me, maybe there wouldn't be any friggin problems!" I've had something like 25 MP3s being downloaded from me at once...boy was that not fun. I have a very fast cable connection...and this was the thursday before the napster injuction (which was later, obviously, repealed) was supposed to go into effect. I was downloading a ton of songs to make my sister 2 mixes before she went back to college and it was pretty hectic with so many being downloaded and uploaded at once!

I left napster up for like a week once and had a few gigs of uploads on my cable line. Not bad...

I've had like 25-30+ people downloading at the same time from me and I never miss a beat...even when playing online games like Tribes. The only time I even get a stutter in an online game is when I forget to close out Outlook 2000 and an email comes through. I've got my limit set at 7 downloads per user.

Back when I was on multiple T3's, I usually had 30-60 files uploading from me at once. It's been well over 100 files simultaneously though, and that's when things started to really slow down. That's what I get for sharing 2,000 songs. :D

Well I'm only sharing 369. The songs that get hit most for me:

Dave Matthews
Pearl Jam
Bare Naked Ladies
Hooverphonic
Marvin Gaye
Stevie Wonder
