Where's the option for "survivalist bunker 500 feet under an unnamed location in Montana"?

Suburban wasteland. I've been here my whole life, and the area's changed for the worse. There used to be a lot of farmland, but now it's overdeveloped. Suburbia sucks. The convenience of the country, and the solitude of the city...

The burbs...although I've lived in a urban downtown condo before and loved the convenience of having just about everything you need within walking distance.

Suburban but just on the edge of being out in the sticks. I am at the outermost ring of the city. Drive south into a big city, north into rural highway. Work is only 10 miles away so it is perfect for me. I hate the city, could never live in the city, and am too old to care about hanging out in bars and such.

I've lived in suburbs my entire adult life and most of my childhood as well, except as a small child when we lived in Indianapolis for a few years.

I've live in suburbs my entire life. Even scarier is I have lived in the same neighborhood for 35 years, except the time spent away at college, and in the same large city area for 42 with the exception of 3 years in California.

The kind I like. Small town, neighbors stay to themselves, little room for all my power equipment and dog to run. Couldn't make out my neighbors at the grocery store if I saw them.

Suburban wasteland as well. Used to be a lovely small rural town until about five years ago. Now it's just another dumpy suburb full of young prick yuppie families. Would love to take a bulldozer to that part of town. Jail time would be worth it.

I'm not from here
but people tell me
it's not like it used to be
they say I should have been here
back about ten years
before it got ruined by folks like me

we can't help it
we just keep moving
it's been that way since long ago
since the stone age, chasing the great herds
we mostly go where we have to go

onto some bright future somewhere
down the road to points unknown
sending post cards when we get there
wherever it is we think we'll go

I live on Guam...I'm not sure it fits any of those categories. It's crowded as hell on the North end and sort of rural on the South end. Some of it is beautiful and some is downright third world. I have a good paying job here that makes staying here worth it for now. I have no intentions of staying here long term. Overall it's been a good experience.

It's the land of perpetual summer nuts.

Exurb. Traditional suburb built out in the middle of nowhere. Now the city is reaching out and will eventually swallow us unless the water runs out first.

rural, lots of farmland and forest. lived in this area all my life and buying a house in this area also.

It's funny, in HS i wanted to move away, but after HS I wanted to stay. Much prefer country living to city or even suburban life.
