Lol - is that a recliner on the right that you have for backup to bring in for the really long nights of gaming?

OK, so where do you guys think would be the best place to find a desk? Modern styling prefered. I suppse IKEA, but their website is about as useful as getting an abstinence lesson from a hooker!

I prefer glass top, metal frame. My roomate has the glass top metal frame desk in silver.
lol. I saw a few on bestbuy.com. One was actually a metal frame with a shelf (my footrest), but the damn top was made of particle board!!!!!

Hell yes! That is my ginormus LazyBoy. It's facing my TV which is not in the picture.

Fixed links.

KGBMAN, what desk is that? It's nearly exactly what I am looking for. I have a crappy Staples desk that's bowed, and I want to replace it, but I am looking for either a U-shaped desk or L-shaped desk with LOTS of open desk space. It's not easy to find.

Standard, but very nice Ikea. It's not exactly like the one above, but same line with 150cm length, $2.50 a pop legs. Changed from a different overpriced Ikea which was too small. Love this desk, only regret is that I should have got a normal wood stain. This dark brown starts looking white after a week (dust).

Drool!! Omg your one lucky person! Is that Japan?

Vancouver...

Hey how'd you know that?

Edit: I'm an idiot, forgot I had it in my profile

I recognized the buildings outside.

Yeah, for somebody from Vancouver, not exactly a hard deduction. What are you Richards and Pacific? I imagine the view out west is even better than the one shown in the pic.

Back OT. My gaming desk has become a couch. Feet on ottoman, keyboard on lap. Mouse on binder propped up on pillow. 42" LCD TV 7 feet away. I didn't think it would be that comfortable, but it is. then again, I'm not really into twitch/online shooters.

Except his profile says he is from Florida  Anyway, yeah I'm right around that area.

Back to my desk setup, it is definitely not ideal and I really need a new chair...in fact Pale Rider's chair is looking pretty nice...

Yeah as long as you mentioned chairs what chairs do you all use? I compute for long hours 8+ and the $149 chair I got from office whatever is giving out in the arms and in the seat not too mention the material in the seat seems to be a static magnet!
