It's about time I replace my keyboard with crap all over on it. I went to a computer lab and the keyboard was HELLA nice. Actually that's when I discovered how crappy my keyboard was. Anyways, I need some recommendations or just want to know what people are using.

May I ask how?

As for me, I'm using some cheapo KTX thing. It gets the job done, and I can make do without internet keys and other "improvements". I just wish you could still buy keyboards without these stupid windows keys. They make it impossible to play classic FPSs.

yea, i don't really care about the hotkeys and whatnot, to me, the most important thing to a keyboard is how the key depresses. because some of them are too soft and sticky. and then some of them are too stiff and loud (though i hear these are in high demand, with the old skoolers). that's why i like the microsoft internet keyboard pro, because it's perfect for me in regards to noise, tension, feel, etc. i think it's more or less a personal thing...

I'm an MVP. Each year, I get a limited (but quite a lot) selection of free, shipped Microsoft products. :D I usually choose keyboards and mice since my MSDN subscription (also free :D) covers most of my MS software. I was gonna order Digital Sound System 80, but they ran out. So I chose the keyboard. :)

I'm just supposed to be a "recognized volunteer" at MS newsgroups, but Microsoft decided to give me so many goodies. :) Not that I complain. ;)

Nice keyboard, I've been using an ergo one since I got my original natural keyboard and they are so nice to use. Too bad they don't make em on notebooks(butterfly pop out type thing)

Using a 104Key Ergonomic unit (branded US Logic) that I bought back in 1995. It even has the builtin touchpad in the palm rest below the number pad. It has gone through over 10 Major system upgrades and it still work perfect. Sure, maybe a little crusty, but otherwise....

Been thinking about getting a Microsoft Natural Keyboard Pro.... NICE!!!

IBM 102 at work - ok, but liked the old mechanical ones better. MS ergonomic at home -and I'm not wild about it, but I don't use it as much as the one at work. Awful little hunt n' peck on the laptops.

It might matter more about what you're used to......

Then again, I used the Columbus Method when I learned to type.

(Find a key and land on it!)

Ummm a generic Chicony keyboard... not much to it. It's got letter and number so I kan spall werdz wit it.

I like this keyboard because it makes a cool sound when I type things. So I enjoy just typing and typing and typing.. cause the sound, which is orgasmic, keeps me typing.
