Sumatra Mandehling is pretty good. I'm about to finish my Colombian Supremo and will check out what's all the hype about Jamaica Blue Mountain.

The hype is that it's expensive, and often not all that good. Like so many things with mass fanfare, it gets exploited (so does Kona); some JBM isn't really JBM, or the JBM you do get is from a low-quality producer, or you get a blend of a small percentage of JBM, or you get it stale/preground and essentially waste your money as the quality of JBM isn't to be found.

There are far, far better coffees in the world to be had for a much lesser price. If you do buy some just make sure it's from a reputable supplier. If you're buying JBM on eBay or some random person online you're probably getting Folger's Vietnamese Robusta with a JBM label.

Kenya AA, or Kenya Blue Mountain (which is impossible to find in the US)

Tanzanian Peaberry

Always use a Coffee Press (French Press), I have a drip machine, but I never use it.

what he said, unless I'm being economical. in that case, Yuban.

I was watching the food network and she made this crazy iced cappuccino mixed with a shot of disaronno for breakfast....

I really want to try that.

The JBM was brought to me by my buddy who went on a honeymoon down there. Hopefully it was the real stuff. It was pretty tasty either way. Had someone else do the same with 100% kona when he went to Hawaii to visit his sister, and it was pretty good as well.
I've just tried some Costa Rican Tarrazu from a reputable local supplier, and I'm pleased with it.

Really depends on the situation. In the morning I like to have a nice mocha java, if I'm going out mid afternoon there's this coffee place downtown that has an amazing hawaiian espresso served with coconut milk and some whip cream on top with coconut shavings sprinkled over that. At night, that same place makes a really good cappucino with cinamon.

Ground cappuccino or vanilla hazelnut from the grocery store.

And half-and-half of course. I don't care for sugar in my coffee. Sugar makes it hot chocolate. But StarBucks <vanilla something> sure is good.

In the morning I crave anything, a whole cup of black coffee/no milk for all I care.

A triple ristretto made with Intelligentsia Black Cat, my favorite commercial blend.

Otherwise I typically drink a blend of brazil, yemen, harrar, uganda. Sometimes with monsooned malabar or good robusta thrown in.

And then there's the single origin shots of yemen which I love.

*runs off to make some espresso*

I'm not particlar, but I have to admit I have tried and liked some of the better coffees like Kenya AA, blue mountain, etc.

Fresh ground beans, usually buy a 1kg bag a different type each time, but prefer French Roast, Columbian, or Kenyan.
