I love how thin and lightweight it is...but I wish it was a flip phone because I'm always accidentally pushing the buttons...and it's annoying having to lock keypad all the time.

WTF? The 5300 is a flip phone. Did you mean 6400?

When I signed up for it about 3 years ago - no. The past 3 years after - well, still no. 🙂 Back at OMAX the Sprint rep said pretty much anyone could get one at our store, as long as we took a class. For some reason she waived the class requirement for me and all I had to do was fill out a contract and fax it into her. They were supposed to cancel it once I quit but they never did. I even had it updated last year to give me 750 N&W and free internet access, I was surprised they didn't cancel it.

What's your problem, dumbsh!t? I work at Circuit City, I'm my store's wireless rep, do you think I don't recognize the employee plan when i see it?

haha damn, that's cool. I have T-Mobile, CC just picked them up but I didn't switch to the employee plan cuz I'm leaving in September....but if there is a chance they won't remove me, I might just have to do that 🙂

I got a Nokia 3595, I am with Cingular and I pay 100$/Month for 4 lines. I have 600 Anytime minutes and 5000 night and weekend minutes starting at 7PM

AFAIK, the only people with the power to cancel are the actual reps themselves. The way I understood it, once you quit the rep would have been notified by the manager and then the rep would go ahead and cancel the contract. If I were you I'd go ahead and take that chance - the worst that can happen is once you no longer have the employee plan you can switch back to your old plan. The best case - you pay a lot less 🙂

True, true...at any rate, I'll get August for $30 less 😛
