Nissan Sentra 2001....

one of these days when im no longer a student maybe i will be able to afford another nissan

i love the sentra though...drove it cross country without a single problem...drove it for 23 hours straight with almost no stopping...not a single problem

the only time i can see myself not buying a nissan would be if i buy a pickup, couldnt imagine getting a non-american pick-up...but i would only get that when i have enough for a 2nd car...just want it for hauling stuff

I'll post some awesome pics when i get a chance...gotta find a scanner though

Cross country in 23 hrs? I drove from Boston to San Francisco and that took me about 51 hrs of straight driving (switching off with wife every two hrs to sleep while the other is driving) so no stopping either.

pics - though not too exciting...

Awesome pics? Hey, I like my Sentra, but I don't delude myself into thinking it looks "awesome". :p

I've driven mine cross-country twice (Portland, OR to D.C. and back) as well as other numerous long trips, and I haven't had any problems either. It's been a great commuter car, but I have a lead foot and I want something more fun.

'99 VW Passat GLX. Black with light beige interior. The car has been flawless.

I've thought of trading it in this year... but it's been so good to me and is still in pristine condition I figured I'd keep it a while longer :)

well when driving from baltimore to los angeles we took a detour and went on some back roads in the middle of new mexico and it makes great pics cause of the scenery...

interesting postscript to that story-
while on the back road my friend who was driving came to a halt on the back road and was like "S**T i think i just hit something!" i was confused, but we got out and a trantula was upside down wiggling his legs in the middle of the road...i guess the wind of the car picked him up and flipped it over

2002 Dodge Dakota. 2WD, 4.7L V8, 5 speed 3.55LS. 25,000 miles.

Btw, if anyone knows of some good tires in the 285/60R16-295/65R16-315/55R16 range (16x8 rims) let me know. Currently I have a pair of 285/60R16 Goodyear Eagle GTIIs and I still want more traction. (looking to get 295/65R16's on the rear next time)

Edit:
My ride.

I dig your bus, even if it is an LMT tainted with a GM motor

If you drove the Bus before the engine swap, you would understand why I transplanted the six cylinder in her.

0-60 in 39.5 seconds Stock Engine

0-60 in 12.5 seconds Corvair Engine

oh, i forgot the fake disk brake chrome wheel covers. i wonder if they'll ever make wheel covers that keep rolling when you stop?

Ever get any time slips on your truck? I've been waiting on some reliable 1/4 mile times for the Hemi Rams. (actually, I've been waiting for the Hemi Dakota, but that's another issue)
