Just downloading Yahoo Messenger for some reasons... going to install... I unchecked Typical installation (I don't want those junk toolbars and crap) and unchecked set Yahoo as my default search engine... When I check custom installation it forces me to have Yahoo set as my default search engine...

I understand its their software, but why something like this???

Yahoo=Lame.

Edit: I understand its software, just trying to express my opinion on this BS and want to hear what the OT crowd has to say...

When you choose custom install, there is an additional screen that allows you to choose the options. The reason why you can't uncheck "set yahoo as default search" is that you haven't gone to that screen yet. Click next and then uncheck it, then click back, and you'll see that it can be unchecked.
