I know you don't want to pay 15 bucks for boxers, BUT I will never wear any other boxers than tommy hilfiger. They are worth every penny and last 5, 6, 8+ years and still look brand new. Very durable and comfortable.

nothing fancy, just black cotton boxer briefs from various department stores, though I usually wear real briefs all summer.

I used to go commando, but that stopped after an incident in college where I got the drunkest I've ever been in my entire life, threw up on myself, passed out, and a friend trying to be nice decided she'd try and get my comatose self cleaned up and into different clothes.

I wear the hanes solid colored, tagless, soft, comfortable boxer briefs. You must be confusing boxer briefs with tighty whiteys or something. I wouldn't wear them every fucking day if they weren't comfortable.
