What kind of beer do you suggest?

I usually drink Coors Light, Labatt Blue Light, regular kinds of beers pretty much. What kind of "unusual" type beers do you suggest? I was debating to buy some Carlsberg or Grolsch beer tonight, but wanted to see from your experiences, what would be a worthwhile choice.

I can't stand Grolsch.

I stick with Sam Adams, Boddingtons, and Guinness.

New Castle Brown Ale is good, Bass Ale, Harp, and Negro Mondelo are all very good as well. I normally drink Heineken which everone you pick enjoy😀

Stratus: Since you like macro-brew lagers, why not try the beers they're based on? Pilsner Urquell would be a good start.

newcastle is what the miners drink over in england.

heineken is weak

and red stripe sucks

i don't drink anymore (so i don't know if it is available here), but back in '97 i spent a lot of time working in southern netherlands and Palm was one of my favorites. i forget the other one, it was another belgium beer but darker than Palm

😀 how can you not like something that has the medival (sp?) symbol for STEEL on it?? lol that stuff tastes like motor oil, we used to have "toughman" contests with it seeing who could drink the most. doesn't help they come in 24oz cans

If you are in the eastern part of the US go with something like Yuengling Lager or Yuengling Black & Tan. Good stuff. Sam Adams is still my personal favorite! :beer::beer::beer:
