What kind of aftershave do you use/recommend?

I rarely use the stuff myself...IMO, most of it smells like insecticide. 😀

But then again, I don't use shave cream either...I either just shave "wet" or with a bit of bar soap for lather.

I use the Nivea for men cooling lotion. hate aftershave burn and this one doesnt burn at all. Also has a little bit of moisturizer to keep my skin from drying out in the winter.

I use this, too.

Dirt and tree bark. If I'm in the city, I punch the ground for some powdered concrete and rub it on my face after I shave, with my fingers.

What type of tree? Does oak work better than maple?

I like Oak 'cause it's more manly. Maple sounds like something I would rub on my pancake.

Nivea Men aftershave balm (not lotion)

light scent that doesn't cling; not that powerful alcohol-driven odor

Rule of thumb: If anyone not currently having sex with you can smell your aftershave, then you are using too much.

:camera: ?

I never use any. Shave with Gillette Good News. If I feel the need to use an after shave (very rare) it would just be rubbing alcohol -- no after scent. Yes, I have some after shave, but I never reach for it.
