anything else that can accidentally snap and kill you, even if they like you
Venomous snakes can actually do this.
Even the spiders/centipedes/insects etc with the strongest venom known to man only do this to people in extremely rare circumstances.
Unless you have the bad luck to be allergic (which has never been shown with spider venom to my knowledge) all that will happen to a healthy adult is fear, pain and suffering!
What's not to like ?!?
if you run a recluse spider the wrong way you die
As Phillip Anderson, a Missouri physician who specializes in brown recluse spider bites, explained in an article for the medical journal Missouri Medicine, “Almost all brown recluse spider bites heal nicely in two to three months without medical treatment at all. Also the long-term medical outcome is excellent without treatment.” Furthermore, says Anderson, “We are not aware of any verifiable deaths caused by the bite of the North American brown recluse spider.”
Note that just because you almost certainly won't die (at least from a spider-bite!) does not mean it will be fun!
That vs 9 verifiable dog-bite related deaths in the US in 2019 ... while nine isn't a lot, it's a lot more than zero and that's one year while the zero is all-time.

EDIT: My bad looks the the actual number of dog-attack fatalities was substantially higher at approx 52. The numbers skew so far towards Pit-bull related dogs it's insane too... 66%!
