What join date do you have to have to be an 'old member'?

I started near the end of "the old days", so I say <2000.

Edit: I can't believe it's been nearly six years already... Yikes 😱

I was here before they redid the forums. The only differences I see are the splitting off of P&N and almost no hardware fanboy, ie AMD vs Intel, flamewars.

Basically you have not missed much.

I'm pretty sure the offical consesus with the 'old members' is that it's before 2000, right before OT started going to hell.

You're not old unless you had an account on the AT UBB forums(which means your join date would be the same as mine).

<-----

(Thats when they reset the forums due to something, and everyone who registered at this date and before had their join date set back to this)

Though I never joined the UBB though...

I would *like* to consider myself an older member, but i personally feel that anyone 2000 or less really is.

Ah, I see you don't visit the Video Forum often.

And I'd call the "second generation" those who joined before the dot-com bubble burst, which was sometime between March 10, 2000 and later that year.
