I once worked a job in a flour packaging mill lifting 50 lb. sacks of flour and dumping them into a hopper all day. Now that was a workout!

My goodness. I bet you were popular with the ladies!

i cant imagine doing that after 40 years or so. as you get older, it becomes more difficult on your body.

Bailing hay
12 hour days in the sun (or a hot barn) moving 40 - 60 pound bails constantly. And keeping an eye on the kicker of course.
Roofer would be my next choice. Those guys bust their asses.

Pretty tough from what I understand. Good benefits + decent pay + crappy economy = no openings

I worked on the floor of an R&D facility where we built production machines. The building was a quarter mile on a side, and was square. I lifted, moved, machined, huge amounts of everything. Everyone that worked there was in good shape, and we all ate huge lunches... That was a workout!

Drag brush for a tree company... my God did I hate that. Not only do you move limbs around, cut them up, chip, stack etc, but sometimes dodge logs that the climber is cutting out of the tree. It's a workout.
