What is the Planck scale or whatever it is called?

I have now read about it in a post about black holes and one about infinity (both recent) and I was wondering what this is...

Planck's constant - a fundamental constant relating the energy of a quantum of electromagnetic radiation to its frequency, equal to 6.626 * 10^-34 joules.

(source: Oxford Dictionary, Tenth Edition)

One 'h' (the symbol for Planck's constant) is 6.62607 * 10^-34 Js

(source: Binas)

OK...

Now I remember learning that number!

But it has been to long I still have no idea about it.

Oh well.
