What is...

Toro, though a couple of pieces will run you into double digits already. Toro is the fatty part of the tuna. It is exquisite and will give you tastegasms. Other than that, stick with salmon, caterpillar rolls, dragon rolls, and maybe some baked dynamite 🙂

Money isn't really a problem, I just want one that I will be able to stand, I love fish, but always have had it cooked.

that comment just left me wide open I think 🙁

No it was the $500 tip that made you spread 'em.

If you want cooked fish, there are probably better options than Japanese sushi places.

nah, it's not my choice. Boss and some clients are going over to the place, he invited me along

How do you pronounce unagi?

Anything that isn't raw. I have a sensitive stomach and I've gotten sick from eating the raw type before. Eel or shrimp rolls are the best, IMHO. Eel ones, if properly made, are really flavorful, not like that raw crap. There's also this type with tiny little bright orange caviar-like things spread over it. That's also pretty tasty. Go easy on the wasabi if you're a first timer.

oh, and if you like what you are served, it is polite to tip the sushi maker in addition to your server

How do you do that? Go back to the kitchen?
