What is your treasure here on earth?

I was just thinking here about a few things. One is that I am a very fortunate man and extremely successful one as well. Why?

Because I have the love and respect of my family. The Waltons can keep their billions. I have something far more valuable.

What do you prize in your life?

Screw that, send the money my way. Poor college student over here 😉

Hehe, that's what happens when you post a serious thread on OT 😀

Damn, I'd take the cash too 😀

But I would never trade what I have for it.

To bastardize an old Silver Bullet song:

people have come, people have gone, everyone trying to change me...some were so sweet, I barely got free; others, they only enraged me. Sometimes at night, I see their faces - and I feel the traces they've left on my soul. Those are the memories that make me a wealthy soul.

As often as I myself have lost sight of that, it is true - people are what is important; much more so than how much money you make, what kind of car you drive, etc. Which is one reason why this stupid family feud over the last year or two has driven me so crazy 🙁

Dude, that Van Halen shirt on your son is teh rock! I need to get one of those for mine, but I think the wife would shoot me in the face!

Both my kids were hearing Van Halen in the womb!

In 2002, the wife and I went to the Sammy Hagar/David Lee Roth concert; She was pregnant w/my daughter who was born November 2002.

This year, We saw Van Halen in Greensboro in June, and Pittsburgh in July while she was pregnant with my son, who was born in September.

My kids knew how to rock from the start!

hmm.

Technology expertise.
My data collection.
The van.

and most importantly, the future: I'm just a college student.

(Family, of course. Don't think I'm an ungrateful cretin.)

I guess it shouldn't surprise me that the picture of my wife has gotten 1/3 more views than the one of my daughter, and over double the views of the one of my son.
Freaking ATOT horndogs. Regardless of whether they think she's pretty or not (she had just given birth 2 months earlier than that pic), they still looked at the chick pic first.
Not that I wouldn't do the same thing.
