Most LCDs with a 1280x1024 native resolution are actually 5:4 ratio displays, so 1280x1024 is the correct aspect ratio on them

One is an older Samsung Syncmaster 900p pro monitor that actually out performs it's 19" flat tubed Dell couterpart. Just waiting for one of them to die, so I can jump on dual 18" LCDs.
