Most LCDs with a 1280x1024 native resolution are actually 5:4 ratio displays, so 1280x1024 is the correct aspect ratio on them 🙂

One is an older Samsung Syncmaster 900p pro monitor that actually out performs it's 19" flat tubed Dell couterpart. Just waiting for one of them to die, so I can jump on dual 18" LCDs. 🙂
