What is your profession? What is your job like? How long have you had it for? Are you happy? Vote!

Now this is a pretty vague poll but please try to match to the closest options. If you are a doctor or a dentist, you will choose the obvious option 1. However if you are a CEO or a business owner, you should choose "Business". Now due to the limited polling options, there are some professions I have missed such as Janitorial services, Military services, Entertainment services, Media and many more so please feel free to select "Other" in that case.

Thanks.

PS- MODS - please merge Business and Finance into one section, and replace either section with Unemployed--edit--nm

Currently unemployed but was working as a software engineer on an aerospace project for 18 months. Looking to get back into a position like that.

Any poll about ones job or profession that doesn't include an unemployed option is seriously flawed.

Noted. Can any mods make some changes to the polls for me? PM me pls...

AFAIK, you can't edit a poll once it's been voted on. Even with mod powah. For the older versions of vbulletin that I knew of, anyway(3.7).

I'm a student, but I'm heading towards a career in software engineering.

My experience from internships is that I can be very happy or very miserable depending on the intellectual quality of the projects I'm working on.

Data entry in pathology lab (job title: accessioning clerk).

Had job for about 3 months now, night shift, and it's okay. It's almost non-stop looking at specimens (histology, mostly GI and podiatry...seen more polyps and nasty nails than I care to, lol) and typing. They are very particular about accuracy (as would be expected, since patient info is critical).

i would classify hooker as "recreation"

😱

but all joking aside... isn't dental considered medical? 😛
That's only my part time job, and I don't even think of it as work! 😉

He could put medical/dental. I think there are of few of the dentally inclined here.

I chose Info Tech. I am employed by a big co. involved in such things, I support hardware mainly but some software support comes with the job...gotta prove where the problem lies sometimes 🙂 been at this position for about 4.5 years..
