I was looking at one of those orange juice jugs at kroger today and it had some sort of snap-on to twist off adapter
I bought it because , if i every had to buy a snap on i could convert it

Im going to spend some time after work tomorrow trying to take the adapter off and post a picture

Twist-off is much better because its much less likely to pop off causing a spill if the bottle tips over for some reason.

I've never actually seen a twist-off milk cap.

I pretty much only buy milk in small cartons (school lunch-style), so I just have the crappy cardboard fold.

I can't decide... they're both amazing feats of engineering and craftsmanship. Like deciding whether the golden gate bridge is 'better' than the brooklyn bridge. All this thread does is make clear the favoritism in all of us.

Front snaps ftw... wait, you are talking about actual cow milk containers? We use scissors since our milk come in plastic bags. Though it's kind of weird that it's 4 litres divided into 3 bags...

I like the twist.

Something I noticed: When I take off the snap-on ones, I touch the inside of the cap and I get germs on it and the milk goes bad faster. (It might be a coincidence)

Twist by a mile. It's comforting to be able to knock over a half gallon without it cascading down over everything else in the fridge.

Twist. And none of that plastic jug crap. I only get my milk in the cardboard/waxed/whatever the hell it's called. The plastic ends up adding a bad taste to the milk.
