Who wants to go off roading with me this weekend?

Only reason i posted this was because I saw one come out of a parking lot in Toronto the other day...chinese driver

I'd consider it a worthwhile vehicle if it had more towing capacity. It needs to wow me, and 7,000lbs towing isn't doing it.

G wagons are quite capable, though they are top heavy.
Primary market is millionaires and billionaires who like to play in the sand dunes in the middle east.

I saw one of these parked at the Czech embassy a few weekends ago. Blocking it, in the same driveway, was a Ferrari California T. There was a phone charging on the arm rest and half-drunken soda in the cup holder. ...I was tempted to check if the door was unlocked, but I didn't, and so I remain without bullet holes in my body cavity.

I see them around me all the time. 90% of the time it's a recent Chinese immigrant who is driving it.

Once you are buying something with its intended purpose to go off-road...I don’t see the point of making it luxurious and expensive.

If it is an occasional off-roadie down a diet road...a luxury Crossover is fine. As soon as you start tackling real obstacles that are going to create real wear on the vehicle...a Jeep or a 4Runner is all you need.

Guess I am saying I don’t see the purpose of this vehicle other than to be a poser.

Land Cruiser is about $90k. I would say that is luxurious and expensive. Plenty of Land Cruisers are used to tackle real obstacles all around the world. I would take Land Cruiser over G Wagon.

G Wagon has 3 locking diffs. Pretty hard to find that on a factory vehicle. The only issue with the LC is it's size. In current form it's huge!
