I'm waiting for the new Neo adapter for Abit BP6 which will allow dual PIII to run on it. I probably get (2) 800Mhz cBo PIII with 256MB of PC-133 mosel chip.

...add a NV20 video card would be nice. 😎

All together would probably cost around: $800

This old chestnut! OK a monitor to replace this 14 inch which only shows about 12 inches at this refresh!! Look at my sig too.

march or april- whatever the most hella fast processor on the market is, amd or intel (200mhz fsb p3, 1.4 GHz athon, 1.6 GHz p4?), ddr sdram board with 256 megs of 2100, or maybe better, new video card (rampage, nv20, g800?!?), probably a new hdd too (my plus 40's aren't all that old). what will be carried over? probably the sound card and nic. as well as the 19" FD. the pro will get retired then, i don't have room for more than 3 computers at this desk.

but i'll probably get a notebook in december, so i can watch movies on my trip to malaysia. so thats the next computer.

I was hoping for a Geforce2 GTS a few weeks ago upon the sale of my old P166 but that hasn't sold yet so I have no money for it. By the time I get money the GTS will suck compared to cards out. Damn!

I'm looking to do a major upgrade in the Spring of 2001 which would be new DDR mobo, DDR ram, and probably an athlon (mustang?). I'd say it would cost $500-600 but I could sell my current things like NFS4's idea to bring it down a bit.
