prized posession = most treasured thing.. yes?
my husband would say either his car (69 p1800) or his trains (50's american flyers) or his watch (his grandfather's railroad pocket watch)..
is it weird that I have a better handle on his most treasured posessions than I do my own? hmm..
maybe my charm bracelet. or my grandfather's oddfellows pin. or the lucky bean necklace my other grandfather made me when I was a small child. I don't even know what lucky beans really are.. they're sorta like miniature buckeyes, without the whole eye thing.. or my coca-cola apron from when my cousin used to sell sodas at the stadium. probably my charm bracelet.. lots of memories all in one handy place. oh.. or.. maybe the cedar chest my grandmother's brother made her when she was fixin' to go off to college. or my bed! my great grandmother's bed! that's a treasure..
prized posession = most valueable thing?
eh.. I don't have much that's all that worth much.. aside from my house (I like my house, but it's hardly a prize) and my car (I'm pretty sure that a 5.5yo mini van is not my most prized posession, even if it is one of the most valueable things I own). oh.. I have a 2 layer production cel from the jungle book.. we bought it in.. 1980, I guess.. to celebrate my husband's first raise at his first real job. it's kinda cool.
