What is your monthly gas budget/cost?

i pay an average of 40-50 bucks (19.4 gallons of tank filled with premium) each gas stop.

but i'm living on the college campus so i don't really drive very much and i get to save the gas money!!!!

No. You can't afford to NOT have a better mileage car. Even selling that vehicle for a cheaper vehicle with better mileage will save you hundreds of dollars a month.

A mid 90s Prizm would cost ~$2000-$2500. And it'll save you $500/month. In 4-5 months the thing would pay for itself. In 1 year, the gas savings would earn you a a free Prizm plus a free $3500. How can you afford NOT to accept the free Prizm and free $3500 every year?

I just filled up yesterday. It was a pleasure to pay only $2.19/gal.
