I'm guessing that most of you people with fitting titles work for private sector... I guess with government jobs there tends to be alot of inflating titles... damn government workers
I'd give anything to get the same benefits state workers get. My company's not too good at compensating its workers.
Looking back, are you saying that you would trade the job you have now for something more stable and with better benefits (like working for the government)?
I'm kinda at that crossroad right now... I work for the city of LA which pays very very well, has lifetime job security, great benefits, and easy work. However, I feel that this is the easy route and a waste of my time.
There is no incentive to improve, but still the longer you stay and the more ass you kiss, the more promotions you get. I'm thinking of moving into the private sector to challenge myself and improve my skills, but part of me thinks that I'll have a hard time adjusting to the level of stress and competition.
What do you think?
