Aren't impulse buys something you buy on the spot? Like I walk into the store, see a Bruce Lee DVD, say, "Oh I want that," and I buy it. I don't see how thinking about it makes it an impulse buy .

Well, If I walked into a AT&T/Apple store RIGHT NOW, I'd walk out with an iPhone. :p

2 of my co-workers ordered/got PS3's using the $100 credit back with the Sony Style card.

Now I want one, even though there are no games I want to play on it, and it'd basically be just for movies. Already have a Tosh A3, and there are only a few movies on BRD that I want.

Mostly just want it for the sake of wanting something.

If I fail at resisting....the wife will literally kick my ass.

There is always a good reason to buy a waffle maker: delicious, golden brown waffles!

Don't forget to pick up real maple syrup on your way home.

That's the way to go... these days, whenever I feel an itch to buy something I just lay off of it for a few days/weeks and see how I feel then. Usually the impulse is gone.

Maybe it's a good thing that I can no longer access Woot at work. I got all kinds of crazy impulse buys from them during the WootOff's.... Like a Zune or a Mickey Mouse TV :)

Amazon Kindle e-reader...I'm on the fence between "why the heck did I buy this first-generation thing" and "this thing is so uber cool I'm gonna explode!"
