I stopped drinking hard liquor 20 years ago...it don't mix well with me. Strictly beer now. I wake up not in jail.

Aside from drinking more, just hydrate and drink a lot of water. Take some advil to help with the pain. Have some greasy food like burger and fries.

I have a pretty damn high tolerance to alcohol but since I turned out to be an alcoholic I had to quit this year. Going on 3 months straight sober this week, and been mostly sober since May 1st of this year, with a few relapses. That's the only cure I know at this point.

Drink lots of water before hand, during and after. Keep some near the bed and down a glass every time you get up to pee

Slam a can of Spaghettios, cold, straight from the can, single slurp, no breathing.

Don't get the kind with the wieners.

I don't really drink a lot, but do like wine once in a while, and I sometimes overdo it at our Christmas party. Well, for me anyway. I had like 7 drinks once which is a lot for me. Those coolers go down too easily. I know to pace myself when drinking alcohol though, so never been drunk and never had a hang over.

you never got to the point where you just drink yourself stupid? I'm 50 now and it seems natural.
Please be careful. My brother's 57 yo girlfriend almost died recently from esophageal varices (she has a horribly damaged liver from a lifetime of drinking, and she still drinks, although I think she wishes she could stop).

I'm not trying to harsh your buzz or thread-crap.

Then what happened?

I just said I didn't get stupid drunk...not that I'm not stupid...

I dunno about that...for a rather lengthy amount of time, I opened a brand new fifth of Crown Royal every night after work...and threw away the cap, because...well, you know...the whiskey will go bad over night if you only drink part of it and put the cap back on...so I drank the entire fifth...every night. ALMOST never a hangover the next day...although there were occasional days where I didn't feel great...so I worked myself harder than normal...and that meant my crew had to work harder too...

Well you are no fun.

I've heard that most of my life...drinking or not.

An Excedrine and a bottle of Gatorade and i'm usually fine.

Be careful with the Excedrin...the acetaminophen in it doesn't play well with your liver...especially when mixed with alcohol.

Don't drink bottom of the shelf stuff, drink decent vodka, whisky, beer or wine and your less likely to get hang over.

1L of normal saline IV prior to bed. I rarely, rarely, drink like I did during my schooling year though.

I have a friend that lives in another town that is a nurse and she says that an IV in the morning, preferably with a "banana bag", is the absolute perfect hangover cure.

I used to drink a lot, now I drink less. Drinking less has solved my problem.

Otherwise, sleeping a long time helps, like, 12-16 hours.
