What is your go to movie monster?

Most people are probably zombie'd out by now, but plenty aren't. What movie baddies (or goodies) do you never tire of and will pretty much watch anything involving them?

For me it is aliens. I'm a sucker for pretty much anything involving some sort of alien, be it a good movie or bad movie. Some of my favorites are Alien series (of course), The Thing, Metamorphosis, Critters, Cloverfield and Close Encounters but I will watch pretty much anything of the sort just to see what creature they came up with.

For the poll I just kept it to the ones that get the most attention, so nothing like Chupacabra, or Cujo. I also split up ghosts and demons because those typically have a different tone even though both can have hauntings/possessions. Obviously some of these can overlap on occasion.

I put down werewolf but there are very few good werewolf movies and I've watched a ton. I'll watch pretty much any kind of monster movie but the human variety are my least favorite. I like monster monster movies.

Could be it's own, but when you think about it most times that falls under psychotic humans that cause them to be monsters for one reason or another.

Blame the guy who is over analyzing it which was covered in the 'overlap' section. Either play or don't. The groupings you have are not the same thing. For instance, I don't mind vampires, but I don't care for werewolves. Same with Zombies and Mummies. Not the same thing. You are free to put 'other' and post what you like and why.

That being said, I did completely forget about Godzilla, but again, he and his clan can fall under mutants if nothing else.
