Just wondering what your gateway anime is. By gateway anime, I mean the anime that lead to more hardcore anime usage.

I first got into anime watching the Robotech Series and All Star-Blazers... but I officially got into anime watching the AWESOME series from Jump Comics, Kenshin.

Seriously, Escaflowne. There were many, many scenes with two chicks gettin' it on! What is not to love?

First one I ever saw was Robotech and Fist of the North Star. I also liked Bubblegum Crisis a lot, then I got hooked on Cowboy Bebop. I can't wait for the movie to come out on DVD here.
