When I worked at a restaurant years ago, the guys in the kitchen were all illegal Mexicans. They called each other "guajolote", and apparently it was quite the put down.

She is half Lebanese and the name comes from that part of her ancestry. It means thankful.

Oh, well my other favourite spanish word, El Noobo, is actually something I coined in online chat playing Bad Company 2, so I guess I have no favourite word... well, I'll pick burro. I always think they're cute in the movies.

I had heard that before and that it was slang for 'fatso'. But Google says turkey. Go figure.

It's what my friend from Guatemala calls Tamales. It stands for little dog in Guatemalan slang.
