Good call w/ Braveheart. Not the first movie that comes to mind when you think of "war movies".

The reporter was in Behind Enemy Lines, was he not?

My top 3, that I've seen:

1. Braveheart
2. Longest Day
3. Platoon.

the rest:

4. Hamburger Hill
5. Patton
6. FMJ
7. SPR
8. We were soldiers
9. Glory
10. Gettysburg

Of those, Braveheart and Saving Private Ryan were the most emotionally moving, especially at the end of each movie. My grandpa, a WW2 dday vet who would kill you just as soon as he'd look at you, started crying at the end of SPR. They must have gotten it right.

Yeah that was a good flick. Harry Connick Jr. actually did a pretty good job acting in that one🙂

Ack! Nicholas Cage in a war movie? You have sullied my thread....j/k

Other guys were good, should have cast someone else to play lead though

Saving Private Ryan
We were soldiers
BraveHeart

What was the one with the 2 snipers? Something like "At enemy Gates, or behind enemy gates?" That was a pretty good movie imo. The scenes throught the sniper rifles were pretty cool.
