Is this the alternate version of Pulp Fiction? My version has John Travolta doing the stabbing. :p

the two that stick out in my mind (now at least) are:

-the infantry rush from the battle of sterling bridge in braveheart
-the movie theatre scene in donnie darko

edit: ooh also in shawshank redemption when the warden throws the rock through the poster and learns how tim robbins escaped

My god... there are so many.

I like the restaurant scene from Pulp Fiction, with Samuel Jackson.

The drug enforcement team busting in the apartment in Leon (AKA The Professional) with Gary Oldman shooting up the place. Vicious and cruel, but it fits and makes the whole movie.

For laughs, I think the scene with Jack Nicolson and Shelly Duval in
The Shining keeps getting funnier ever time I see it.

No one's really mentioning any good Westerns here.

All I have to say for one of my favorite scenes is "I'm your huckleberry..." or "Say when"

That scene along with those already mentioned for Saving Private Ryan and Shawshank Redemption.

"I walked in there the other day and that son of a bitch was sleeping."

"He was probably just resting his eyes."

"Resting his eyes?!? What's that? It's not like he's some air traffic controller."

"Actually, I believe that's his night job."

:D

Ike Clanton: What is that Holiday? Twelve hands in a row? Ain't nobody that lucky.
Doc Holliday: Why Ike, whatever do you mean? Maybe poker's just not your game. I know! Let's have a spelling contest!

Lt. Col. Thursday: I suggest the Apache had deteriorated since then, judging by a few of the specimens I have seen on the way out here.
Captain Kirby York: Well, if you saw them, sir, they weren't Apaches.

Best mano e mano scene (not fighting): John Wayne and Henry Fonda in Fort Apache

I like the scene in The Shawshank Redemption when the warden throws the rock through the poster and discovers how Andy escaped. The following explanation is great too. I also love the part where Red is out in the country by the rock wall and finds the letter. I like how Andy's voice is used to read the letter. Great scene.

I'd have to say the cat scene in Boondock Saints. "Is it dead?" Best movie ever if you haven't seen it by the way.
