One of my favorites ever: the Princess Bride. Star Wars trilogy also, but I know it's not on DVD yet.

There are others but I can't think or them right now.

Star Wars (all 4 in any order) are by far my top favorites.
Next would be T2, Gladiator and for a comedy...Ace Ventura 1. :)

I've always held the Star Wars movies near to my heart... But its hard not to say that the Matrix is the greatest :)

Hmmm.

The question was:

What is your favorite movie of all time????

Singular. Not plural.

BTW mine is Braveheart.

LOB: I can read, I just could not pick one. Besides, I am horrible at following directions. Thanks for pointing out one of my flaws... :(

Sigh... this is such an unfair question... here goes anyway:

American Beauty (it's a really comforting movie, actually, with so many "essential truths")

Airplane (was my favorite until I saw American Beauty)

but this question is not fair because there are SO many movies that are just a micrometer below these... I like a lot of the movies that have already been mentioned in this thread. I would also like to add Brazil and Rushmore.

Oh, and a little movie called "Harold & Maude"... it's not for everyone, but if you like it, there's a good chance that we'd get along well.

American Beauty and all of the Kevin Smith movies...

Can you beleive that Kevin Smith is only making one more movie!? We should make a website with something like, "www.supportkevin.com" wheree we all vote for him to make more movies :D hehe, I hope he makes more man.... that'll kick ass.

Schindler's List. I've never seen the movie without crying through it. Such a great film.
