I'm not against wearing fragrance - but if there is one thing I am against it's that everyone here is basically mentioning the same mainstream crap.

Do you know what your sense of smell does? Triggers memory. It does that better than any other sense.

Know what your wife, girlfriend, or significant other is going to remember when they smell the same fragrance? (Acqua di gio, cool water, hugo ,etc)... Their last significant other that wore it. Or their co-worker that wears it. Enjoy that thought of your significant other thinking about other people.

So what you're saying is, find out what her dad wears and wear that? I kid, I kid...

OK, have an update: my new signature scent is Art of Shaving aftershave balm. Light, pleasant scent and I get a "wow you smell good" at least 3 times a week ;) Keeps your face looking great too!

Creed Virgin Island water. Once paid ~$350 for a bottle when I had money. Lasted for about 5-6 years. I wish I could buy another bottle, but money is tight these days.

I recently got a huge box of sample-size vials of Axe Anarchy for $4 shipped.

Not the best smelling stuff IMO BUT my GF likes it plus it was cheap!

*(the only things I care about)

Funny thing is I used to wear all kinds of expensive after-shave/cologne years ago but BY FAR the most compliments I've gotten for a scent came from "Edge after-shave balm with aloe". Figures.

This particular scent of Issey Miyake which I found when overseas. I had used his traditional men's cologne for some years and saw this variety of it and got it. Get lots of compliments when I wear it. When I tried to find another bottle in the US it was nowhere - from Sephora to the big department stores nobody had even heard of it -I had a relative pick another one up for me when they traveled overseas a year ago, it seems since then it is now available in the US online.

Though I kind of stopped wearing it cuz workplace went fragrance free. That and I stopped bothering to wear suit and tie to work.

maybe I'll uncap it a few min a day to scent the room :p

Lord of Misrule stuff from Lush.

Someone gave me some and it smells freaking amazing. People at work keep sniffing me! (But they are nurses and have boundary issues)

added Issey Miyake Noir to my now four bottle collection of colognes. That at this point will last me years and years and years.

My favorite men's cologne is the one you don't wear.

So..... you prefer the scent of hairy unwashed man-a$$ ?? :p *(not that there's anything wrong with that!)

Personally the ONLY opinion I care about when it comes to cologne would be my current GF's/sex partners not the ATOT "sausage-fest" consensus.

;)

My wife preferrers that I not shower before we got it on, as she found my natural odor a turn on.

Conversely, the scent of a woman doesn't come out of a bottle of chemicals produced in some lab.

You bathe in cologne? I generally use water.
