What is your favorite game to play online?

Heres one that no one has mentioned. World War II Online. Its a Massive Multiplayer Online Game where you are either an Allied or Axis participant. You can be a foot soldier, man an anti-tank gun, drive a tank, fly a plane or captain a ship. I know the game got absolutely horrible reviews when it first came out....they released it way too early! But, now that the makers have gotten most of the bugs out and have done some huge revisions this game now ROCKS! I emplore any of you to try it now. You can download the game for free I think now....there is a subscription fee to play, but you get a month to try it out. Just do a search for WW II Online.
 
there is no computer enemy...its all people...I was on the other night and there were like 2500 people on playing...its the allied against the axis and you can play either side. Just think you could be driving a Panzer Tiger Tank or fly a British Hurricane. I'd give you the link, but I'm at work and the stupid Websense won't let me get to game sites!!!

I belong in a squad of about 12 guys and we regularly get on and try and take towns from the AXIS...its really cool!

Played other games (Q2,Q3,AvP2,RTCW) but none of them were as good for me as UT.

The most fun I ever had was with Counter-Strike (when I first started playing), lately though it's getting pretty boring. All time favorite game is Starcraft though. I still play Counter-strike, but only because of Clan Matches.

As admitted in my first post...WWII Online was a huge bust when it came it!!! It was bug ridden and downright unplayable...BUT the makers have since made huge strides in making this game playable. It is very fun now!
 
Medal of honor rocks dude!! Download the demos for it and see if you like it. IMHO it's the best game I've played! Playing on the objective maps can get really tense! I recommend you download the demos of all the games suggested and see which ones you like because everyone has different taste.

MOH(Medal Of Honor) is awesome online and single player. Also good is Delta Force 3.

How can i be a beta tester for games like WC3?

Counter Strike
Tribes (Better then tribes 2 IMO)
And most of all, Unreal Tourny, say hi if ya see Shockwave (Or run, either way I'll get ya 😉 )

Most awaited for: Probably Global Operations, or Unreal 2.
I didnt like Tribes 2 as much as Tribes (Only played it once in fact....) so I await Unreal 2 with apprehension as well as enthusiasm.....
 
What is Global Operations? When is it coming out?

I wonder if Jedi Knight is going to have multiplayer? I think it is coming out next month.
 
Quake3 is the best IMO. It doesn't take a zillion hours to figure out and the controls are simple. Just find a server, join, and start fragging. I play the Excessive mod exclusively, it's the best game I've ever played...fast, fun and lots of action. The nice thing about the Excessive mod is it's all server side, there's nothing to download. Just find an Excessive server and join it. If you try it, ask some of the experienced players for advice on tweeking your config file. Excessive gives you all the Q3 weapons to start so there's nothing to pick up. You need to be able to quickly switch weapons to be sucessful.

I've been paying for my EQ account for months now and and haven't touched it in about 4 months. It used to be my favorite game until RTCW and MOH came out. Now it just seems boring. I still play UT a little, too.

I may just have to check out World War II Online after seeing you pimp it. It sounds like a great concept, and if they worked out the bugs, it sounds like a pretty fun game. 🙂
 
Pimp...yes...LOL! I guess my passion for the game shows through...just a bit.
Don't get me wrong..MOHAA is one fantastic game, had a blast playing it...But WWII Online is one of those games I don't think you'll get tired of because of the expansion possibility. I'm done..no more pimping it!!LOL
