modern games, Homeworld! and theif (didn't get around to gettying number 2 yet) 🙁

Ah, even more old favs, Civilization and Dune II for the Amiga.
Damn Dune II sucked on PC, but then, PC's themselves also suck compared to Amiga's 🙂

Oh and I just noticed someone had mentioned Starflight, another DAMN fine game 🙂

People have mentioned a couple of my favourites, but not "Sentinel". It was a great C64 game, and the first non-wireframe 3D game I saw. Average speed was 2FPS, but it was still great. I got to about level 5000. Also Mercenary was a very good C64 game.

My current favourite is Planescape: Torment. At last an RPG that is not cliche.

Actually I thought Dune 2 for PC was awesome too, the only problem was...at the time I played it I was running it on a 286 🙂 The stupid buildings self-repaired faster than I could damage them (this is with 3 rows of quads firing at the damn thing surrounded) So I'd go out and eat, come back 2 hours later and they'd still be pounding on it, life got some much better with the upgrade to the 486 🙂

bah used to buy lots of computer games.

But since i got everquest, i think i've bought 2 games since august 1999 🙂

No particular order, no particular platform, just those games that I know I spent way too many hours of my life playing...

Temple of Apshai, C64
Sword of Fargoal, C64
Wing Commander stuff, esp. the 1st Privateer
Ultima Underworld I/II
DOOM I/II
Thief I/II
System Shock I/II
Quake I/II
Diablo I/II
Final Fantasy 6 (3 in the US) and 7
Deus Ex (latest obsession)

-Pain

Ultima IV I would say.

Although I really enjoyed the games from Infocom. Zork, Enchanter, Planetfall, etc...

The game I enjoyed the most has to be Half-life. Loved the single player missions, had a blast with deathmatch, and am still playing Counterstrike.

Whenever I start playing FESTERS QUEST on the old NINTENDO, i start drooling and a tingling sensation comes over my body. I don't understand this, but the game has me hooked like a drug. I don't own it, but if i see it, i must play it until i either pass out, the game freezes, or my friends tear me away.......

mmm.......FESTER'S QUEST

Tough choice but favourite games are the XCOM -UFO eneny unknown, apocalypse, interceptor,& Might & Magic 6,7.

I think I am only supposed to list the English game here:
Heroes II: the sucssesion wars,

ps. maybe you should refine the topic to be 'pc game'

Leisure suit larry series
Monkey Island series
Grim fandango
doom I,II
Quake I-III
System shock 2
Half life
StarCraft
Warcraft I-II

Fester's Quest isn't bad. 1 life and 2 hit points is a bit rough 🙂

BLASTER MASTER, 1/2 of the game engine that was used for Fester, is the best game ever made. In fact, I need to go buy it for gameboy colour today.

Bruce Lee was fun.
Congo Bongo
Impossible Mission (Not Mission: Impossible)
Trolls and Tribulation
Hat Trick
Winter Games (I got a 10.0 in figure skating by smashing my knees to the ice over and over)
International Karate II (or something like that.. Basically Karate Champ with 3 people at once)
Any old sports games made by Scott Orr like the one Boxing game I can't remember the name.
4th and Inches

Dune 1-2
Star Control 2 (For 3do.. the voices were AWESOME and killed SC3)
Lemmings

Counter-Strike pretty much took all of my spare time for over a year. I am finally getting bored of it.

It's a toss up between Unreal Tournament and Diablo II.
Although, In the past I was hooked on Duke Nukem 3d, Quake, Quake II, Diablo, Blood, etc.
