Do you seriously want to know all of my favorites?!

That could take 10 years for me to list them all.
I have like 200 MP3's of classical music, then I have lots of CD's.

Ok I'll just list my favorite violin concerto.
Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto in E minor Op. 64

Rachmaninoff's 2nd
Rachmaninoff's 3rd
Tchaikovsky's 1st
Brahms' 2nd
Beethoven's 5th

Favorite Violin Concertos:
Beethoven's Violin Concerto
Brahms' Violin Concerto
Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto

Favorite Cello Concertos:
Dvorak's Cello Concerto
Elgar's Cello Concerto

I am also begining to explore wonderful symphonies, and my favorite one so far has to be Beethoven's 3rd

Hmmmm, I've got a lot of favs, but here are a few of mine:
Brandenburg Concerto 5 mov1-3
Cello suit by bach (played by yo-yo ma, IT IS AWESOME)
Air - Bach
Russian Easter Overture - Rimsky Korsakov
Wagner - Flight of the Valkerie
Four Seasons Vivaldi
1812 Oveture Tchaikovsky
last but not least cannon in d :)
there are a lot more... but these are some of my favs...

This is by far my favorite.

Adagio for String - Barber

I don't generally listen to one piece when I listen to classical. Mostly I grab a composer instead. I enjoy: Beethoven, Rochmaninof (can't spell:(), and Chopin.

of the complete symphonies i enjoy:

nutcracker suite (technically not a sym)
1812 overture...

the emphasis is on COMPLETE!!!

if i had to choose a period, it'd be romantic, followed VERY closely by baroque...

i also enjoy the brandenburg concertoes =)

shostakovich symphony #5 (a great complete symphony)
