What is your favorite bar soap?

All soaps are not made equal! When I was younger, my parents use to buy the cheap kind and just one of those bars lasted an entire month with 4 people using it. Obviously, the soap wasn't doing it's job.

My favorite right now is Zest but I might try Irish since so many people seem to love it.

I'm a bit partial to Irish Spring myself to be honest.

The only disadvantage I've seen was when I was dating a hot red head Irish woman who saw I had that in the shopping bag from the store and thought I bought it because of her.

I guess I just let it pass at the time, but I'd been using it years before that.

Maybe it worked 😛

Cheaper than body wash, and very... soapy? No terrible aroma either. My skin seems less dry, but that could just be the humid spring weather.

I wash with a bar of Ivory soap. Cheap. None of that moisturizing crap I hate because it makes me feel greasy after washing. Basic soap.

Irish Spring...with Aloe. But the wife usually forgets and gets me the regular kind.

Old Spice 3-in-1 body wash/shampoo/conditioner for hair.

Dial Basics Hypo-Allergenic; aka Pure & Natural.

I have yet to find a body wash that doesn't break me out.

Kirks I've used in the past also, and the plain old Ivory soap or Dove.

I still like Irish Spring.

I don't like the runny body wash things, I did that about 20 years ago a short while whe they became popular, the wife still has a few things.

I might try Kirks out again.

What is a good bar soap for use with water softener systems?
I've heard the simpler the better, like Ivory?
Something non perfumed and basic?

Nubian Heritage. I usually get Whole Foods 365 or Clearly Natural, though, because they are cheaper.
