Beer, good beer. I can afford good beer but can't afford good liquor. Relatively expensive beer is cheap to try. Expensive liquor not so much. I live in a small town with no high end bars that you could buy it by the order.

Tonight it's Sailor Jerry's Rum and diet coke. I'm trying this rum and coke mixture for the first time, tbh it's not half bad. I usually just drink it on/over the rocks.

From my experience with beer the price doesn't reflect taste after a certain point .(Drafts are an exception) I'm very content with the everyday beer i'e Coors Banquet Vs. <insert expensive beer here>

On a side note, I don't much care for any light beer as it taste too watered down.

I don't really like the taste of anything with much over 3% alcohol in it. Not that it matters, these days I get a headache long before I even get a slight buzz regardless of what it is.

You can drink past the headache but I can't promise you good results the next day.()🙂

For a buzz that keeps on giving....

There is a crap-ton of space between BMC products and over-priced.

They have their time and place, but drinking those solely isn't a bragging point.

I've been experimenting with some rums lately.

I tried Captain Morgan, Sailor Jerry, Kraken, and just now El dorado 12 year. First and foremost let me get this off my chest, the El dorado is overrated. It taste more like a bourbon I'm thinking a weaker version of Wild turkey. (I just gave 30 some odd dollar for a lower proof Wild turkey.) Kraken is too dark and barrel tasting for me. This is going to come down to Sailor Jerry and Caption Morgan. Sailor Jerry it is by a nose hair. So far, Sailor Jerry is the best Rum I've tried at around the $20 mark.( or above for that matter) Morgan is only 2 or 3 dollars cheaper than Sailor Jerry.

Oddly, I have taken a liking to Black Russians, but I drink them more like 4:1 instead of 5:2.

I do like Black Butte Porter if I want a beer.

Folks, El dorado is overarated I'll say it again. Just buy a good Kentucky bourbon and save a few bucks. It tatses like Wild turkey or anciet age but cost more.

Edit: a drunk post
