In the hopes of better understanding the demographic of Anandtech, I would like to conduct a poll to see what everyone's ethnicity is.

Merriam Webster says "of or relating to large groups of people classed according to common racial, national, tribal, religious, linguistic, or cultural origin or background". Basically, where do you come from if you were to look at your family background.

Please feel free to participate in the poll, if you fit into more than one category, choose the one that you are mostly. If your ethnicity is not here, choose other and share what your ethnicity is in the thread.

So if this gets really popular, it would be cool if the mods would sticky it so everyone would see and take the poll so we can see that background of the people that we talk to here on Anandtech.

While we're on that... Race is considered to be socially defined by some. Ethnicity is sketchy cause it's related to culture and background more than skin colour.

If you would like, we can do subcategories for each one. But then we would need to compile a list of each one.
