The most vivid I can remember is falling off something (maybe a jungle gym) in pre-school and landing right on my head, face-first. I've still got a scar near my left-eyebrow from it. I thought for the longest time that a piece of bone came out, 'cause I remember seeing something near my face. But, common sense now tells me it must've been a block, or something. :)

Oh, I must've been 4-5 years old.

WOW crab453!!! You just made me realize that my earliest memory is before my days of playing on the swing. I think i was around 3. We moved from a house to an apartment in the cit and I remember my mom buying this magic marker set from the store right below our apartment. :)

I'm nekkid honest with you guys all the time, so why stop here?

I was about 18 months old and I was sharing a room with my 10 year old brother... my dad was building a bigger house for us at the time.

The wall next to my crib was stucco.

I drew a picture of Fred Flinstone on the wall with the caca from my diaper. I distinctly remember thinking of Fred as I made the smears.

My brother, who was asleep at the time in the bed next to me, remembers this Kodak moment as well...

:D

Seriously, I have a scary memory. I have a photographic memory and can remember from age 18 months on up.

Date Dec 24 1978

That is my earliest memory..

I dont know why I remember it, but it is still very vivid..

Some people are concrete operational way before 3 or 4..

I remember my mother dropping me off at kindergarden and when I realize she was leaving I started crying and was scared of everyone else there.

I also remember walking home from kindergarden with a girl (I don't remember why we were walking together). When we came to my house I said something like, "well, here's my home, bye" and she leaned over and kissed me on the cheek and continued to her home. I remember holding my hand to my cheek and walking up the driveway slightly stunned and when I looked up I saw my mother and brothers smiling and laughing -- I was really embarrassed.

My next memories were of moving away from that home. I remember dreaming about that girl. In my dream we were getting married. My next memories are of going to the school to pick up my stuff. I think it was some crayons from the desk. I have faint memories of people being surprised to see me at school (I guess they thought we had moved already) and I remember anxiously looking for that girl.

My earliest memory was Christmas 1979 (I was born in January 1978). My father had just been laid off from his job, and I remember my parents being a little frantic about how they were going to survive. It wasn't until only a few years ago, though, that I realized what year that had happened and how young I actually was ;)

I also have vivid memories of putting my hand on my mother's stomach and feeling my brother kick (spring 1980). I even remember most of the rest of that year. It's strange, though; I have very few memories from there until kindergarten. ;)
