I can remember having a dream when I was around 3 years old. I was in a toy store with my grandparents, and they bought me this knight kit with a shield, helmet, breast plate, and sword. The following morning, I was SURE it was real, and kept asking my mom where it was. I was traumatized, it was my favorite toy I never had. She finally realized it was a dream, and secretly called my grandparents.

Later that week, we dropped by their house and bam, they bought me the knight kit!

(Edit: It was a lot like this knight costume.)

When I was a kid, I had this strange recurring dream where I was crawling across a floor in a specific room; it was long, with a fireplace and Christmas tree at one end of it, and a hideous brown carpet that looked as though it had suffered through decades of neglect. The dream was always the same, a vivid image of this exact same room, and me crawling along on my belly. It was bizarre.

When I was 6, we traveled down to my grandmother's house in California for Christmas. As I walked through the living room, I was struck by an uncanny sense of deja vu; this was the exact room that had been showing up in my dreams for years, Christmas tree and all. I told my mother this, and informed her that I was psychic and she should think of some way to market that. She responded that we had been here before, when I was 7 months old, and that must be where the dreams originated.

So apparently my earliest memory is from when I was 7 months old. Which is weird, because my memory really, really sucks for most things.

2 years old.

I was hit in the head by one of those heavy schoolyard swings they had back in '59. I was taken to the hospital and kept overnight. I have no recollection of the incident up until my parents telling me they were going to leave me alone and me putting up an ungodly scene and then them lying to me and telling me they were just going downstairs and that they'd be back. They never came back until the next day. I distinctly remember lying in that bed PISSED. I was seething that they lied to me.

I have no recollection of this, but I guess the next day when my parents showed up I punched my mom in the chest and yelled, "you lied to me!"

At my 3rd B-Day. Got a 3 wheeled bicycle that was a popular style in the early 60's. Remember being happy getting it and riding it around for the rest of the day.

Quite a few things after Hurricane Andrew, I was about 2. My family lived in a trailer while rebuilding the house. I'd stay home and "help" my dad rebuild with some hired newly homeless dudes. There was one guy on probation who taught me how to put tiles on floors and called me by my nickname. That dude was the shit, hed bring me some candy when it was his turn for cig/food runs (no, he wasnt on probation for pedophilia you sick bastards lol).

Earliest memory I can fully recall is me hammering a nail into the wall of what is now my mom's bathroom. I'm standing on a stool and my dad is a few feet away from me. I finish and call him over to look at it. He smiles and lifts me up. Thats as much as I can remember. 19 now

oh lolz I just remembered another one. I don't know if it occured before/after the story in my last post, but:
I was sleeping in my crib and pretty sick. I woke up feeling pretty unhappy apparently, b/c I remember crying/yelling at the baby intercom thingy but my efforts did not cause parents to appear. So I moved my blanket & stuffed animal (a little purple bunny) to the other side of the crib (w/my pillow) and threw up all over the vacant side. Then i went back to sleep.

My mom tells me she woke up the the most horrible smell that wouldn't leave the house for days. (Smell = my puke in the crib, my puke that had leaked onto the carpet, etc)

I remember some stuff about my old apartment, which we had from when I was 2 up to 4. I had remembered when I chucked a glass behind the TV, hid in my parents room, played with a LEGO toy I had... all centering around that apartment.

For our house that we had when i was <2 I don't remember anything at all

For some reason I remember a lot of things from when I was about 18 months old. Chocolate pie and the red cigarette roller at the neighbors house. Christmas toys hidden behind the couch. Some butthead stealing my toy plane. The smell of a steam locomotive near where we lived. Nearly 60 now.

Playing in a box out in the sun between the age of 18 months to two years. Also my dad putting some chips on the floor to get me to come to him. Around the same age.

I'm 29 now.

My son is 21 months. I wonder what his first memory will be.

Placing couch pillows on a plastic table/chair set to make a pillow cave and then climbing on top, having it collapse and hitting my head against the edge of one of the chairs. Two years old.

I distinctly remember my third birthday. I remember going specific places with my mom but I can't pin them down as before or after that.

Snippets of things from the time we lived in Malaysia and China.

One of my earliest memories goes back to the time I was 3 or 4. I used to like to climb all over these stone turtles on the grounds of a Buddhist temple we often visited in Xiamen.
