Same here. Just saw that GOogle is shutting down iGoogle.

This is what my home page looks like. I keep it open all the time and the items all update every few minutes.

get a hosting account somewhere and code your own. I set about:blank as my homepage, especially IE. When IE loads its default msn page and and all of the scripts keep rewriting the url bar contents as I try to type in it, I find myself looking around for an infant to punch.

This. I've been using about:blank for years. When I open my browser, it's because I already want to do something specific, so I have no use for a home page.
 
i should prob replace WoW on there as i haven't played the game in like a year

Google claims that Chrome Apps will be a replacement to iGoogle. I can't figure out how the apps are any different than glorified bookmarks. They don't update data in real time or lay it out nearly as well as iGoogle does.
 
Finally got around to trying NetVibes yesterday and it's pretty cool. Super easy to configure and a ton of preset "themes" you can choose from. Only takes a couple seconds to set it up.

Probably what I'll be sticking with.
